Chromogenic Factor VIII, Activity
Also known as: CHROM F8
Use
This test is useful in combination with Factor VIII, Activity (0030095) for the initial diagnosis of mild hemophilia A. It is also used to measure factor VIII activity in the presence of a lupus anticoagulant. The test is helpful in monitoring certain extended half-life factor VIII replacement products and in measuring native factor VIII or factor VIII concentrates in patients on emicizumab (Hemlibra).
