SurePath liquid-based Pap test is used as a cytologic screening method for detection of cervical cancer, precursor lesions, atypical or malignant changes in the lower female genital tract. It replaces conventional Pap smear in liquid-based cytology format and is intended to enhance diagnostic accuracy and specimen adequacy.
