Also known as: NKX3.1 IHC
Use
Immunohistochemical detection of the NKX3.1 protein, a nuclear tumor suppressor gene product, used primarily as a stain-and-return technical service. This assay is intended for clinical purposes and performed in a CLIA-certified laboratory, serving in diagnostic evaluation of tissue specimens to characterize NKX3.1 expression in tumors.
Special Instructions
This test is a stain-and-return (technical) service only. It is performed as a Laboratory Developed Test (LDT) by ARUP Laboratories. Ordering recommendations and interface mapping refer to the ARUP Immunohistochemistry Stain Offerings brochure. The test is New York state approved.
