Use
This test is designed to detect exposure to phencyclidine (PCP) in patients. Phencyclidine, commonly known as PCP, is a hallucinogenic drug that can lead to severe health issues and altered mental states. This quantitative test measures the concentration of PCP in serum or plasma to assist in clinical assessment and treatment planning in cases of suspected exposure.

Limitations
This test is intended for clinical purposes and has not been cleared or approved by the US Food and Drug Administration. It should not be used for forensic purposes. The concentration of PCP must be greater than or equal to 10 ng/mL to be reported as positive. The test is performed in a CLIA certified laboratory.
