Prolactin by Immunohistochemistry
Also known as: PROLAC IHC
Use
This test provides immunohistochemical staining to detect the presence of prolactin in tissue or cell specimens, utilized as a stain-and-return (technical) service. It is intended for histopathologic evaluation by a pathologist. It aids in identifying prolactin expression patterns within tissue samples.
Special Instructions
Refer to ARUP Immunohistochemistry Stain Offerings brochure and use electronic request or ARUP Immunohistochemistry Stain Form (#32978) if necessary. Use ARUP tissue transport kit (supply #47808) for submitting FFPE blocks or unstained slides; do not oven-bake precut slides. Protect from excessive heat.
