SATB2 by Immunohistochemistry
Also known as: SATB2 IHC
Use
SATB2 by immunohistochemistry is used in pathology to detect the presence of special AT-rich sequence-binding protein 2 (SATB2) in tissue samples. SATB2 is a protein associated with certain types of cancer and other medical conditions. The test helps in the differential diagnosis and characterization of tumors, particularly in distinguishing colorectal carcinomas and certain sarcomas from other neoplasms. Its expression profile can provide valuable information for pathologists in the diagnostic process.
