Special Instructions
This test is New York state approved. Specimens must be separated from cells as soon as possible or within 2 hours of collection and transferred to an ARUP Standard Transport Tube. Room temperature, refrigerated, or frozen conditions are acceptable for transport. This test is not performed at ARUP, and separate specimens must be submitted when multiple tests are ordered.
Limitations
The test has not been cleared or approved by the US Food and Drug Administration. Analysis is performed by NMS Labs using High Performance Liquid Chromatography-Tandem Mass Spectrometry (LC-MS/MS).
