This immunohistochemical stain for TDP‑43 was developed and its performance characteristics determined by ARUP Laboratories. It is intended for clinical use and is performed in a CLIA‑certified laboratory, but has not been cleared or approved by the US Food and Drug Administration. It is categorized as a laboratory‑developed test (LDT) and is provided as a stain and return (technical) service only.
