FoundationOne®RNA
Use
FoundationOne RNA is an RNA sequencing test designed to detect gene fusions and rearrangements across 318 cancer-related genes in all solid tumors. It offers a comprehensive approach to identify actionable targets for personalized therapy, especially important in cancers like NSCLC, where RNA sequencing is recommended by guidelines.
Special Instructions
The test is easy to integrate into the existing FoundationOne CDx order. No additional specimen or collection kit is needed beyond the requirements of FoundationOne CDx. A single report combines both DNA and RNA results, simplifying clinical decision-making.
Limitations
FoundationOne RNA has not been cleared or approved by the FDA. A negative result does not rule out the presence of a fusion or rearrangement. Genomic findings are not prescriptive or conclusive for the labeled use of any specific therapeutic product.
