ExomeDx First Time Reanalysis (no charge)
Use
Provides reanalysis of a previously performed exome sequencing (ExomeDx) at no charge for the first request when new clinical information is available; facilitates identification of new or reclassified pathogenic or likely pathogenic variants based on updated literature, databases, and phenotype data.
Special Instructions
Intended for patients who previously had a full exome analysis at GeneDx. Providers are encouraged to wait at least one year from prior analysis. The requisition requires indication whether there is newly available clinical information; appropriate labeling and consent is required.
Limitations
Only applicable if full exome analysis was previously completed at GeneDx. ACMG secondary findings are only returned if a full exome analysis accompanies the reanalysis. Genes, test codes, and limitations are subject to change and the latest information should be consulted on the GeneDx website.
