Buprenorphine Medication Assisted Treatment Monitoring 2, Urine
Also known as: MAT Drug Screen
Use
Detect and confirm presence of prescribed and illicit drugs for monitoring Suboxone™/buprenorphine medication assisted treatment (MAT). Please note this testing is designed specifically for monitoring patients who are on Suboxone™/buprenorphine only. This testing should not be used for monitoring chronic pain patients (medical drug monitoring) or methadone medication assisted treatment.
Special Instructions
This testing profile is specifically designed for Suboxone™/buprenorphine medication-assisted treatment. It is not intended for workplace drug testing and does not comply with state regulatory requirements for workplace testing programs.
Limitations
Components of this panel were developed and performance characteristics determined by Labcorp. These components have not been cleared or approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA). Therefore, all results should be interpreted in the context of other clinical and diagnostic information available to the healthcare provider. The test is unsuitable for monitoring chronic pain patients or those undergoing methadone medication-assisted treatment. Potential cross-reactivity with other substances might affect test outcomes, necessitating confirmatory testing through definitive methodologies like LC-MS/MS.
