Limitations
The accuracy of histopathological diagnosis is reliant on the quality of the tissue sample provided. Inadequate fixation, improper labeling, or compromised samples may limit the accuracy. Absence of clinical history or improper handling could lead to misinterpretation. The test does not identify every possible condition, and additional confirmatory or reflex tests may be needed to support the initial findings.
