HLA DRB1 CWD Resolution, DRB3,4,5 Intermediate Resolution
Use
This test yields a CWD DRB1 result with low to intermediate resolution DRB3,4, and 5. DRB1 antigens may be correlated with certain disease states or other clinical conditions. Indicate in clinical information which antigen(s) is of interest. Also used for screening of transplant candidates and potential donors, transfusion of specifically compatible blood products, among others.

Limitations
This test was developed by Labcorp and its performance characteristics were determined internally. It is not cleared or approved by the FDA. Genotyping may include ambiguous results with multiple genotypes, provided alternative genotypes have at least one including a CWD allele.
