Kratom (Mitragynine), Screen and Confirmation, Urine
Use
Detect presence of the kratom alkaloid mitragynine, which has both stimulant and opioid effects
Special Instructions
Test employs initial presumptive testing by immunoassay at a threshold of 5.0 ng/mL, followed by confirmation through liquid chromatography/tandem mass spectrometry (LC/MS-MS) for any presumptive positives at a lower threshold of 1.0 ng/mL.
Limitations
The performance characteristics of this test were determined by Labcorp but have not been cleared or approved by the FDA. Results may vary based on sample contaminants or other interferents not identified during screening. Additional factors such as hydration status or metabolites may influence detection limits.
