Use
Fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH), Prenatal Chorionic Villus Sampling, FISH targeting numerical changes in 13, 18, 21, X, Y.
Special Instructions
Pertinent medical findings should be provided with the FISH request. InSight FISH testing must be performed concurrently with prenatal chromosome analysis or microarray. Abnormal results should be verified through banded chromosome confirmation.
Limitations
This test may not detect molecular mutations below the resolution limit of FISH or aneuploidies not targeted by the selected FISH probes in the panel. This test has not been cleared or approved by the FDA.
