ToxAssure® Flex 16, Urine
Use
This test is used to detect the presence of prescribed, over-the-counter and illicit drugs for the purpose of medical drug monitoring.
Special Instructions
Patients may be required to provide all declared and prescribed medications to aid in result interpretation. Additional confirmatory or reflex testing might extend the testing timeline. Specimen submission within three days is optimal to avoid complications in testing.
Limitations
The analysis might not detect substances that were only present in concentrations below the detection thresholds. The results should be interpreted within the context of a comprehensive clinical assessment, including a reliable patient history, other laboratory findings, and clinical observations. Cross-reactivity with non-target compounds might produce false positives or negatives, requiring confirmatory testing when results are critical to treatment decisions.
