Vectra® with CV Risk
Also known as: Vectra® DA Disease Activity Test
Use
Vectra® DA measures the concentration of 12 serum proteins. An algorithm is applied to these concentrations to calculate a quantitate disease activity score ranging from 1 to 100. Test results are intended to aid in the assessment of disease activity in RA patients when used in conjunction with standard clinical assessment. This test is not intended or validated to diagnose RA.
Special Instructions
The Vectra Cardiovascular Risk is only intended for rheumatoid arthritis patients aged 40 and above with no prior history of heart attack or stroke. It is not intended for patients using anti-IL-6R treatment, patients with a diagnosis of cancer (excluding non-melanoma skin cancer), or patients that have been hospitalized within the past 14 days.
Limitations
The individual biomarker results are intended for use in the generation of the Vectra score only and should not be used interchangeably with results generated by different methodologies. Clinical interpretation of individual biomarker levels, which have different weights in the Vectra algorithm, has not been established. This test has not been cleared or approved by the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
