CXCL9
Use
Quantitative measurement of CXCL9 (Chemokine (C‑X‑C motif) ligand 9), also known as MIG (Monokine Induced by Gamma Interferon), as an aid in evaluating immune response and inflammatory activity. CXCL9 levels can inform clinical assessment in contexts of hyperinflammation and related conditions.
Special Instructions
Requires completed Cincinnati Children’s Diagnostic Immunology Laboratory test requisition form. Specimen must be centrifuged within 8 hours, aliquoted plasma frozen immediately and shipped frozen. See library PDF “DIL Test Requisition Form.”
Limitations
Developed and validated by CCHMC Clinical Laboratories; not FDA cleared/approved. Some specimens may be rejected if not meeting processing or shipping requirements. All specimens evaluated for suitability by processing lab.
