ARID1A
Use
ARID1A is a component of the SWI/SNF chromatin remodeling complex, which regulates gene expression by altering chromatin structure. Mutations or loss of ARID1A function have been implicated in various cancers, including renal cell carcinoma, where it acts as a tumor suppressor gene.
Special Instructions
Specimens may be fixed in formalin for 24-72 hours by collection sites, then transferred to 70% ethanol and stored at 2-8°C for longer term storage if needed. This is NOT preferred. Samples must be tested 3 months after placing in ethanol. Unstained slides require positively charged glass slides to prevent background staining and tissue loss. Slides should be left unbaked.
Limitations
The turnaround times stated are for clinical use only and subject to change based on biopharma protocol requirements. Final TATs will be specified in the biopharma study contract. Biopharma studies may require different protocols affecting test performance.

Storage Instructions
Store at 15°C to 25°C. Use a refrigerated (NOT FROZEN) gel pack in the shipment to protect from extreme temperatures. Separate gel pack from specimen.
