BRG1
Use
BRG1 is a protein involved in chromatin remodeling, which plays a crucial role in regulating the binding of transcription factors to DNA. Alterations in protein expression are associated with various neoplasms. This test helps in identifying loss of protein expression or overexpression of BRG1 that may indicate the presence of certain neoplasms.
Special Instructions
This test is available for clinical trials or research purposes only. Stated turnaround times are applicable for clinical use and may vary based on biopharma protocol requirements. Final turnaround times will be stipulated in the biopharma study contract.
Limitations
Specimens must be fixed in 10% neutral buffered formalin or B plus. Other fixatives will lead to rejection of specimens. Testing must occur within 3 months if stored in ethanol after fixation. Unstained slides require positively charged glass to avoid background staining.
