Use
CD31 antigen is expressed on the surface of endothelial cells in a variety of tissues with some reactivity noted in platelets, monocytes, granulocytes, and B-cells. This test provides a technical component only, without pathologist reading, for applications in histological analysis.

The test is limited to the technical component of CD31 staining and does not include interpretation by a pathologist. Stability and storage conditions must be adhered to, with formalin fixation being mandatory for certain specimen types.

Store at 15°C to 25°C. Specimens may be transferred to 70% alcohol for transportation purposes after fixation.
