CRM1
Use
Exportin-1, also known as chromosome region maintenance 1 (CRM1), is a protein that is essential for the nuclear export of proteins, mRNAs, and rRNAs. CRM1 binds to substrates with nuclear export signals rich in leucine and other hydrophobic amino acids.
Special Instructions
Fresh tissues must be fixed in formalin for 24-72 hours at collection sites, then transferred to 70% ethanol and stored at 2-8°C for long-term storage if needed. It is important that samples are tested within 3 months of being placed in ethanol.
Limitations
Specimens must be fixed in 10% NBF or B plus; all other fixatives will be rejected. Ambient shipping is required for fresh tissues and a refrigerated gel pack should be used for FFPE blocks and unstained slides to protect them from extreme temperatures.
