Use
Ki-67 is a nuclear protein associated with cellular proliferation. In pathology, Ki-67 is widely used to assess the proliferation rate of tumor cells, which can be an important indicator of tumor aggressiveness and prognosis. High Ki-67 expression is often correlated with more aggressive cancers, and its evaluation can guide treatment decisions, particularly in assessing the need for chemotherapy.

Fixative should be at a 20:1 fixative to tissue ratio, 10% neutral buffered formalin (NBF) for 6-72 hours (48-72 hours PREFERRED).
