Leukemia/Non-Hodgkin Lymphoma
Use
This test involves immunophenotyping using flow cytometry to detect myeloid and lymphoid markers associated with various hematological malignancies such as leukemia and lymphoma. It provides detailed insights into the cell marker composition, which aids in diagnosing and monitoring treatment response in conditions like Chronic Lymphocytic Leukemia (CLL), Acute Myeloid Leukemia (AML), and other lymphomas.
Special Instructions
Expected turnaround time is 1 day, subject to protocol changes in biopharma study contracts. Ensure proper specimen preparation and shipping conditions to avoid rejection. Various specimen types are accepted including whole blood, bone marrow, fresh tissue, and fluids. Use the Oncology Pathology Requisition form when ordering.
Limitations
This test is designed for flow cytometry based immunophenotyping, and may not detect all possible markers outside of those characterized in the panels. Changes in panel composition or marker sensitivity could affect the outcome. Specimen viability and volume limitations might restrict analysis capabilities, potentially impacting test results.
