Use
This special immunohistochemical stain is intended to identify weakly sulfated mucins in tissue samples, aiding pathologists in detecting mucin-producing cells that may be poorly visualized with routine staining methods.
Special Instructions
Tech Only service; Level of Service is technical only. Specimen identifiers (block and slide) must match exactly with the specimen labeling and requisition. Storage/transport: use cold pack during transport, ensuring pack is not in direct contact with specimen. For New York State clients, date and time of collection must be provided.

Formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue block preferred; or one unbaked, unstained H&E slide (required) and two to three positively charged unstained slides (4–5 μm) per test.
