Use
CA19.9 antigen has been demonstrated in various normal tissues such as ductal epithelium of the breast, kidney, salivary gland, sweat glands, respiratory epithelium of the lung, colon epithelium, pancreatic acini and ducts, and more. It is positive in gastrointestinal carcinomas and other types of carcinomas including those of the bladder, gallbladder, lung, thyroid, and endometrial.
Special Instructions
For Tech Only service level. Block and slide identifiers must be clearly written and match the specimen ID and labeling on the requisition.
Limitations
Interpretive results may vary based on tumor heterogeneity and expression levels in non-malignant tissues. Staining might be influenced by specimen fixation and processing.

Collection Instructions
