CD11c
Use
CD11c detection via immunohistochemistry (IHC) helps identify various normal and neoplastic hematopoietic and dendritic cells. In normal tissue, CD11c is expressed on activated CD4/CD8+ T cells, granulocytes, lymphocytes, macrophages, and NK cells. In disease states, CD11c is notably found in acute myeloid leukemia subtypes M4 and M5, hairy cell leukemia, lymphoplasmacytic lymphoma (~81%), small lymphocytic lymphoma (SLL), splenic lymphoma, Langerhans cell histiocytosis, sinus histiocytosis, psoriatic skin lesions, and certain follicular lymphomas.
