CD35
Use
CD35 antigen is a transmembrane protein (160‑250 kDa) binding complement components C3b and C4b and mediates phagocytosis by neutrophils and monocytes. It is expressed in erythrocytes, B‑cells, subset of T‑cells, monocytes, cultured macrophages, neutrophils, eosinophils, glomerular podocytes, and follicular dendritic cells. CD35 IHC is useful in diagnosing mucosa‑associated lymphoid tissue (MALT) lymphoma and studying inflammatory disorders; it also labels follicular dendritic cell sarcoma.
