Use
Anti‑cytokeratin clone OSCAR (CK OSCAR) is a broad‑spectrum cytokeratin immunohistochemical marker that stains most epithelial cell types in normal tissue (e.g., bile ducts, hepatocytes, bladder epithelium, breast ducts, bronchial epithelium, endometrial, gastrointestinal epithelium, pancreatic acini, pituitary acini, pneumocytes, prostate, thyroid, basal skin layer, apocrine and sweat glands) and in tumors including carcinomas of breast, urothelial (TCC), renal cell (RCC), lung (adenocarcinoma, small cell, squamous), endometrial, prostate, ovarian, hepatocellular (HCC), colorectal, stomach, and thyroid. It is negative in brain, lymphocytes/hematolymphoid lineage, muscle, nerves, endothelium, most melanomas, sarcomas, lymphomas, PNET/Ewing’s, GIST; occasional positivity may occur in dendritic cells, some endothelia, and muscle cells.

Formalin‑fixed, paraffin‑embedded (FFPE) tissue block is preferred, or one unbaked, unstained H&E slide (required) plus two to three positively charged unstained slides (4‑5 microns) per test.
Storage Instructions
Use cold pack for transport; cold pack not in direct contact with specimen. For NYS clients, provide date and time of collection.
