Use
Cytokeratin 20 (CK20) positivity is frequently observed in adenocarcinomas of the colon, mucinous ovarian carcinomas, transitional cell carcinomas, Merkel cell carcinomas, and often in adenocarcinomas of the stomach, bile system, and pancreas. The CK7/CK20 immunostaining pattern can assist in differentiating pulmonary versus colonic adenocarcinomas.

Collection Instructions
A formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded (FFPE) tissue block is preferred specimen type or one unbaked, unstained slide for H&E staining (required) and two to three positively charged unstained slides (all cut at 4-5 microns) for each test/antibody ordered. Block and slide identifiers should match specimen ID as on requisition.
Storage Instructions
Use cold pack for transport, ensuring cold pack is not in direct contact with specimen. NYS clients please provide date and time of Collection.
