Use
D2‑40 identifies a 40 kDa O‑linked sialoglycoprotein expressed by a variety of tissues, including fetal testes and testicular germ cell tumors. Anti‑D2 40 labels lymphatic endothelium but not vascular endothelium. In neoplastic tissue, immunostaining of lymphatic endothelium by anti‑D2 40 is useful for identifying lymphatic invasion of primary tumors, and is often positive in sarcomatoid malignant mesothelioma.
