Factor VIII-related antigen is a component of Factor VIII complex and one of the immunohistochemical markers of endothelial cells. It is also seen in platelets and megakaryocytes. IHC staining of Factor VIII‑related antigen assists in diagnosing vascular neoplasms and identifying vascular invasion by tumors.
