FGFR2 (10q26.13)
Use
This test employs FISH to detect FGFR2 rearrangements at locus 10q26.13, which are implicated in cholangiocarcinoma (bile duct cancer) and various solid tumors. Detection supports diagnosis and may guide therapeutic decisions in oncology.
Special Instructions
Level of Service: Global or Tech Only. For Tech Only, send a circled H&E slide plus cut slides (H&E slide required plus four unstained slides cut at 4–5 microns). For NYS clients, provide date and time of collection. Transport using a cold pack not in direct contact with specimen.
