Use
This test uses Immunohistochemistry to detect H. pylori, which is known to play an important role in the etiology of chronic active gastritis and the development of peptic ulcer disease. Rapid detection of this bacterium can aid in diagnosis and patient management.
Special Instructions
New York Approved. Block and slide identifiers should be clearly written and match with the specimen ID and labeling on the requisition.
Limitations
The test is limited to the detection of H. pylori in formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue specimens and unstained slides. Incorrect labeling or mismatching identifiers may lead to sample rejection.

Collection Instructions
A formalin-fixed, paraffin-embedded tissue block or unstained slides are required. All slides should be positively charged and cut at 4-5 microns.
Storage Instructions
