Ki‑67
Use
Ki‑67 is a nuclear protein expressed in proliferating cells during late G1, S, G2, and M phases of the cell cycle, while quiescent (G0) cells do not express it. Increased Ki‑67 proliferative activity is associated with more aggressive tumors and decreased disease‑free survival. Computer‑assisted image analysis for Ki‑67 is validated only for breast cancer; for neuroendocrine/carcinoid tumors, use Ki‑67 NET; for other tumors, use Tech‑Only (stain only) Ki‑67.
Special Instructions
Note that computer‑assisted image analysis is only validated for breast cancer. For neuroendocrine/carcinoid cancer, use Ki‑67 NET. For all other tumor types, use Tech‑Only (stain only) Ki‑67.
