Melan A/Ki67
Use
A combination of Melan A and Ki67 immunohistochemistry is useful in assessing the proliferative index in melanocytic neoplasms. Melan A is a melanocytic differentiation antigen expressed in melanoma cells, while Ki67 is a marker of cell proliferation present during the late G1, S, G2, and M phases of the cell cycle.

Collection Instructions
Formalin‑fixed, paraffin‑embedded (FFPE) tissue block preferred. Also require one unbaked, unstained slide (4‑5 microns) for H&E stain, plus two to three positively charged unstained slides (3‑4 microns) per antibody/test ordered.
Storage Instructions
Use cold pack for transport, but ensure it does not contact the specimen directly.
