MUC1
Use
MUC1 (Mucin 1) is a high molecular weight glycoprotein expressed on the apical surface of glandular epithelia including gastrointestinal, respiratory, urinary, reproductive tracts and some hematopoietic lineages. In tumors, MUC1 expression is often greatly increased and shows aberrant, more diffuse patterns compared to normal apical restriction, and it has been implicated in the progression of various cancers including breast, colon, lung, gastric, and pancreatic cancers.
