MYC Amplification for Angiosarcoma

Use
Fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) testing for MYC gene amplification (8q24) assists in the diagnostic evaluation of angiosarcoma by detecting increased MYC copy number relative to centromere 8, providing evidence of amplification status.
Special Instructions
Level of Service options include Global and Tech Only. For tech‑only orders, a circled H&E slide is required along with the paraffin block and unstained slides. Specimen must be transported with a cold pack, not in direct contact with the specimen.
