Use
Fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) assay targeting MYCN amplification (2p24.3) relative to centromere 2, useful for detecting gene amplification in diseases including neuroblastoma, brain cancer, alveolar rhabdomyosarcoma, small‑cell lung cancer, and prostate cancer.
Special Instructions
Available as Global (full service) or Tech‑Only level of service. For Tech‑Only, when sending a paraffin block, also send a circled H&E slide plus 4 unstained slides cut at 4‑5 microns; H&E slide must be circled for Tech‑Only. Use cold pack for transport, ensuring it does not directly contact the specimen; New York State clients should include date and time of collection.
