Use
The NeoTYPE ALL Profile is designed to analyze acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL) by assessing DNA and RNA alterations across 50 genes. The test combines next-generation sequencing (NGS) with fluorescence in situ hybridization (FISH) to provide comprehensive molecular insights. Test reports include a summary interpretation to guide treatment decisions, potentially aiding in patient prognosis and therapeutic strategies.
Special Instructions
FISH components of this test can be ordered as "Tech-Only" by pathology clients who wish to perform the professional component themselves. Specimens should be shipped on the same day they are drawn using a cold pack, ensuring no direct contact and utilizing Extract & Hold - TNA if specimen holding service is required.
Limitations
This test is TNA-based, and specific specimen requirements must be met to ensure accurate results. FFPE specimens are not validated for FISH testing. The test may not yield accurate results if specimens are subjected to mercury fixatives, acidic or prolonged decalcification processes, or zinc fixatives. Adherence to specimen handling and submission guidelines is crucial.
