Use
The NeoTYPE Pancreas Tumor Profile is designed to provide comprehensive genomic profiling of pancreatic tumors. By analyzing genetic markers, this test helps guide treatment decisions based on the genomic characteristics of individual tumors. It evaluates 69 biomarkers, assisting in identifying pertinent mutations and expression patterns that may affect therapy choices.
Special Instructions
Interpreted test orders include a summary of all results to assist in deciding treatment pathways. There are specific reflex testing options available based on initial test results, such as reflexing to additional FISH or NGS panels if certain conditions are met.
Limitations
Due to the complexity and variability of pancreatic tumors, not all detected mutations may have known clinical significance or available therapeutic interventions. Reflex testing, while expansive, may be limited by tumor purity and the availability of paired normal tissue.
