Use
The NTRK & RET NGS Fusion Profile is an RNA-based next-generation sequencing panel that detects translocations and fusions of the genes NTRK1, NTRK2, NTRK3, and RET, including known and novel fusion partners. It also detects point mutations in select exons of these genes. This test may be utilized to select patients for FDA-approved therapies, such as ROZLYTREK® (entrectinib) and VITRAKVI® (larotrectinib) for NTRK, and GAVRETO (pralsetinib) and RETEVMO (selpercatinib) for RET.
Special Instructions
Store and transport using a cold pack, ensuring it is not in direct contact with the specimen. For NYS clients, provide the date and time of collection.
Limitations
Results may vary based on specimen quality and handling. Zinc fixatives should not be used as they can affect results.
