Use
p16 (INK4a, p16‑MTS1), the product of the CDKN2 gene, is a tumor suppressor that inhibits progression through the G1 cell cycle phase. Its expression is frequently altered in tumors (e.g., melanomas, gliomas, esophageal, pancreatic, lung, urinary bladder carcinomas, leukemias) and is associated with high‑risk human papillomavirus in cervical and head and neck cancers.

Formalin‑fixed, paraffin‑embedded tissue block preferred. Or one unbaked, unstained slide for H&E staining (required) plus two to three positively charged unstained slides (cut at 4‑5 microns) per test/antibody ordered. Block and slide identifiers must match requisition.
Storage Instructions
