p57
Use
p57 (Kip 2, CDKN 1C) is an inhibitor of several G1 cyclin complexes and is a negative regulator of cell proliferation. The gene encoding human p57 is located on chromosome 11p15.5, a region implicated in sporadic cancers, Wilms tumor, and Beckwith‑Wiedemann syndrome (BWS), making it a tumor suppressor candidate. p57 expression is useful in differentiating complete hydatidiform mole (which shows no nuclear p57 expression) from partial hydatidiform mole or spontaneous abortion (which shows normal expression).
