Use
Paired Box 2 (PAX2) is a transcription factor essential for kidney development; expression in adult kidney is limited to nuclei of collecting ducts and distal tubules. PAX2 is expressed during kidney organogenesis and in certain neoplasms such as Wilms' tumor and renal cell carcinoma, making it useful in the diagnosis of renal cell carcinoma.
