Prostate Triple Stain
Use
The combination of p63 + CK HMW + P504S (PIN‑4 cocktail) is extremely useful for diagnosing prostatic intraepithelial neoplasia (PIN) and/or prostate carcinoma, particularly in challenging cases with limited tissue. P504S stains the cytoplasm red in prostate adenocarcinoma and atypical adenomatous hyperplasia, while p63 (nuclear brown) and high molecular weight cytokeratin (cytoplasmic brown) stain basal cells of normal and benign prostate glands, which are negative for malignant lesions.
