Use
Parathyroid hormone (PTH) is expressed in normal parathyroid tissue, parathyroid adenomas, and in primary and secondary hyperplasia of the parathyroid. This antibody is useful in the differential diagnosis of autoimmune disorders involving the parathyroid gland resulting in production of anti‑PTH and hypoparathyroidism.

Collection Instructions
A formalin‑fixed, paraffin‑embedded (FFPE) tissue block is preferred specimen type or one unbaked, unstained H&E slide (required) plus two to three positively charged unstained slides (all cut at 4‑5 microns). Block and slide identifiers should match requisition.
Storage Instructions
Use cold pack for transport, making sure cold pack is not in direct contact with specimen.
