RCC1
Also known as: Renal Cell Carcinoma 1
Use
RCC1 (gp200) immunohistochemical marker is localized in normal kidney tissue along the brush border of the proximal tubule and in other normal tissues within luminal surfaces of breast lobules and ducts, epididymal tubular epithelium, parathyroid cells, and thyroid follicles. Notably, most primary and metastatic renal cell carcinomas express RCC1, making it a useful diagnostic biomarker for detection of renal cell carcinoma.
