Use
This Fluorescence In Situ Hybridization (FISH) test detects structural rearrangements involving the TFE3 gene at Xp11.2, which are associated with renal cell carcinoma (RCC) and alveolar soft part sarcoma (ASPS), aiding in definitive diagnosis of these tumor types.
Special Instructions
For tech‑only service, clients must send a circled H&E slide (required). For full service, send paraffin block and H&E slide plus four unstained slides cut at 4–5 microns. Use a cold pack for transportation (not in direct contact with specimen). New York State clients must provide date and time of collection.
