Thrombomodulin (TM)
Use
Thrombomodulin (TM) is a plasma membrane‑related glycoprotein with anticoagulant activity, present in various cell types including megakaryocytes, mesangial cells, synovial cells, mesothelial cells, endothelial cells, and some squamous epithelial cells and associated tumors. TM antibody often shows thick membranous staining in most mesotheliomas and cytoplasmic immunostaining in approximately half of pulmonary adenocarcinomas. It is also a marker of urinary bladder epithelium.
